another bites the dust

WIP that is.  I decided that I wouldn't start anything else until the tea cosy was finished, it took me an hour, including making the pompom thats all!!

Thanks everyone that commented on my latest WIP Wednesday post - some of you asked for a link to the Ten Stitch pattern so here you go

  1. Congratulations on putting another project to rest and it looks quite fetching if I do say so myself - and I just did.

  2. Cool tea cosy, the pom pom looks great ;) Very disciplined of you to get it done before starting something new as well

  6. Heehee, that teapot looks like it's trying to disguise itself as a hat. Cute!

  7. Just perfect with the red polka dot cup! Funny, sometimes it takes me longer to find motivation than it does to actually finish!

  8. So sweet, I love the red! I am too uncivilised to make tea in the pot, I need it in my mug ASAP.

  9. That's so nice-looking!! One of the things I was looking forward to was making a tea-pot cozy for myself. . . and then someone (DH) put the pot in the dishwasher and it destroyed the finish.
Haven't gotten another tea-pot yet. :( Maybe someday.

Anyway, the cozy is cuuute! I really like it with the pompom, too!

  10. Great tea cozy. The pom pom really sets it off. Your teapot is all ready for winter.

  11. That's really cute! I just got a red kettle and toaster and so you've given me the idea of a nice bright red tea cosy! ANOTHER thing to add to my list!
