WIP Wednesday

Just a short post today.

I am now concentrating on finishing this Ten Stitch Twist, then it will be the In the Mood cardigan and the socks, BEFORE I start anything else.

This is what I decided to do for Lent, nothing new started for 40 days until WIP's are all done.  I hope I can stick to this as I printed off Frankie Brown's latest offering the Button Quilt

For more WIP go over to Tami's

  1. Hmm, maybe I should give up starting new projects for Lent too!?! Nah, I don't think I could stick with it!

Your ten stitch twist looks fantastic. I think I'd be totally addicted to knitting that!

  2. I admire your willpower to finish WIPs before starting anything else. That was my New Year's Resolution but since then I have started new things for other people. I really must have a tattoo put on my forehead: "Before you ask the answer is No".

I think I have caught up with all your Blog posts now. Looking forward to seeing you again, and to seeing all your FOs in reality.

    Hope you are well now.

    Love Pauline xx

  3. ooh, and that looks like very meditative knitting. Perfect for Lent!

  4. Gee...thanks Sue. I had just got a start (5)on the beekeepers quilt to use up my scraps and you go and point me to that awesome Button quilt. Friends.

  5. What a good idea. No more new projects. I'm not sure I could do it.
Mind u, I need to finish a baby blanket so maybe I should. Hmmmmm

  6. Nothing new until the WIP's are finished, what a worthy goal! It will certainly happen : )

  7. That's a good idea, to finish up projects during Lent - I'm going to try and do the same.

I love the spiral thing you're working on (whatever it is!) :D

  8. Good luck with your WIPs! I gave up buying yarn for Lent and I'm already nervous about it!
