Knitting - Mum could you?

Last Tuesday afternoon Rachel asked if I could make Miss J a summer cardigan for a wedding they are attending this Friday.  Only happy to comply.  Quickly went through my patterns and stash and came up with this little number.

The pattern is Sirdar 1848 and the yarn Sublime Cotton Kapok DK.  I made a few modifications.  I did the front bands in one to avoid the centre back seam, left out the buttonholes, and added the flower details to make it look a bit more special.

Miss J will be wearing this with a peach dress with cream embroidered bodice, a straw hat, and little sandals.  We tried it all on her this afternoon but forgot to take photos!
