Mothering Sunday

Today in the UK it is Mothering Sunday.  I hope all you Mum's out there will have a lovely day. Yesterday we went up to Norfolk to visit my parents and got to see my brother Bob and my sister in law Anne too.  It was great to catch up.  Whilst there it started to snow which was a bit of a surprise and whilst it was clear when we got home it started to snow as we were going to bed last night.  We have woken to snow again this morning but it appears to be too wet to do anything other than be a nuisance.

We plan a quiet day just chilling out, hubby will go and see his Mum a bit later and then we are heading over to Rachel and Stu's for tea with his parents.

I have a couple of finished items to share with you and a new work in progress.

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing

  1. Glad you are enjoying your weekend with your family.

I love the cardies, especially the one with the tie-waist. The white one looks interesting too.

  2. Happy Mothering Day to you! I am always so amazed by the amount of knitting you accomplish. I hope you are enjoying your quiet day!

  3. I am also always impressed by how many projects you have going at any one time, and how quickly you finish them all! I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

  4. Those are lovely! Great spring colors!

  5. Its snowing here in East Yorks now too but wet, so hopefully it wont last, though may well bring some overnight ice. Oh joy............
Love the jackets, esp the second one.......such a delightful pattern.

  6. Darling pieces! Love that lavender sweater. Will have to get that pattern.
