Lets go for a walk

you will need your waterproof coat and walking boots, and off we go.......

down the lane
berries bright, plenty for the birds
peek at the lake
watch the puddles

not sure about that sky

the BBC said no rain til 9pm

they lied
lucky we found shelter

thats better, sun is out again
watch your feet
its slippery under foot!
much better
just a few wild flowers still in bloom
can you spot the heron, sorry I should have bought my bigger lens

mint sauce!!

not as muddy as they could have been
Did you enjoy that? Its blown a few cobwebs away, now its time to pick up that knitting, put your feet up, have a cup of tea and enjoy the remainder of Sunday.

Our walk was taken, if you are interested, around the Fen Drayton Lakes RSPB Nature Reserve

BTW the wind came back with a vengeance last night and ripped one of our front gates clean off its post, thats another little job to sort.

  1. Thank you. I enjoyed that walk VERY much. Perfect for today. May I substitute a glass of wine for the tea? Knitting is in hand.
