Me & Mine

Updated June 2017

Welcome to my world
I'm a 50 something (not anymore 60's are now here!), knitting Granny to 4,

August 2013

My hobbies and interests

Knitting - I love knitting baby clothes, blankets and shawls, anything really other than toys

Cooking - I love to bake, and I make a mean Victoria Sandwich Cake.  I also love to make preserves, nothing better than a kitchen filled with jammy smells.

Reading - historical, mystery you name it I'll read it.  My favourites are Barbara Erksine, Minette Walters, Phillipa Gregory, Douglas Kennedy to name but a few.  I also love Agatha Christy and have many on audio CD which are great to listen too whilst knitting.

Gardening - nothing better when you have the time than to make a beautiful garden - though at times not so beautiful.  Luckily I have a lovely husband that cuts the grass and waters all my pots and baskets so I don't need to worry about that chore, the borders are down to me though. Whilst he tends the veg plot.  I wish we had more time.

Motorbiking - Hubby has a Harley, we enjoy day trips out, rallies and trips abroad. I took my test twice and failed so gave up, I'm just happy to sit on the back and watch the scenery.  Think its probably safer!

My hates - housework, work and anything that takes me away from any of the above

Peter is the love of my life and my best friend.
