Me & Mine

Updated January 2022

Welcome to my world

Hi,

Thanks for popping in.  I'm Sue and Granny's World is my blog, my online diary if you like.  Where I document the highs and lows and the interests in my life. I started this blog in 2009.  I hope you find something of interest

What will you find?

Knitting - I love knitting socks, baby clothes, blankets and shawls, anything really other than toys - check out my Knitting Projects Page

Cooking - I love to bake, and I make a mean Victoria Sandwich Cake.  I also love to make preserves, nothing better than a kitchen filled with jammy smells.

Reading - historical, mystery, you name it I'll read it.

Gardening - nothing better when you have the time than to make a beautiful garden - check out my Old Garden page. New at the end of 2021 was getting an allotment so 2022 promises lots of allotment news

Motorbiking - Sadly in 2021 hubby finally waved goodbye to his beloved Harley, it was a sad day

Travelling/Holidays - we like to get about check out my Travelling page

Regular readers of the blog will know that 2017 was all change for Granny’s World.

We moved house, retired and half of the family moved to France - check out their new venture - Chateau de la Ruche, they can also be seen on Channel 4's Escape to the Chateau DIY Series

  4. Love your blog Sue, will keep an eye on your blog in future. I am going to start my blog. I know I should have started 10 years ago but it is better late than never. Did you manage to travel to NZ? Don't be afraid to stop in Asia to break the journey. It is quite safe in Asia. If not sure, stop in Singapore, it is clean and easy to travel around. cheers Michelle from Australia
