The yarn I'm using came from the local charity shop it looks like James Brett Marble so the variation in colour helps add interest to the scarf as well.
The ten stitch blanket has been neglected this week, just managed a couple of sides
I thought you might like to see my garden room all lovely and cosy with the log burner alight, a perfect place to sit and knit. We are still trying to decide whether we need curtains, I say no as its supposed to be a garden room, with views of the garden, but with the dark evenings now upon us it does feel a bit 'open'
I like the modifications you've made to the scarf pattern, makes it much more interesting (and no doubt a bit more interesting to knit too!)
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf, and wow how's that blanket, spectacular.
ReplyDeleteYour garden room looks awesome.
WOW THAT DOES LOOK LIKE A VERY COSY PLACE TO KNIT, STAY WARM X
ReplyDeleteI can just picture you sitting in that lovely cozy room, needles in hand...
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful space!
All so warm and cozy looking. I can just imagine settling in front of the fire with your knitting!
ReplyDeleteI made a ten-stitch blanket last year and it was a lot of fun. I love the colors you're using in yours.
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky to have such a cozy room for your knitting!
I absolutely love the blanket. Maybe if I decide to brave another one, I'll try that pattern. Scarf is really nice too.
ReplyDeleteYou may try sheer curtains in the room, that way you have that open, airy feeling but at night, you have a little more of the "inside" feel.
Your garden room looks like a glorious knitting space -- makes me want to curl up in the corner of that pale sofa near the log burner with a cup of tea and a project. :)
