So how was your weekend? Ours was lovely, the weather played ball and we were able to enjoy some good walks. Saturday we went to the Norfolk coast for the day. It was cold but sunny and not too windy so we walked for 3 hours then went to the
Lifeboat Inn for lunch. I am very proud of my "lunch" photos

After lunch we drove around the coast to Wells next Sea
Then on to Cley next Sea to the fish shop for some smoked haddock - chowder for dinner tonight.
Sunday started out dull but very cold. Luckily all the pathways are clear now so we were able to walk unhindered. Here are some comparisons

After our walk we spent the afternoon and evening in the garden room and I knocked off a few hats and mitts from oddments
Today we awoke to snow, first of the year.
Some of it cleared as the morning progressed, but it is now snowing again and is due to do so for the rest of the day!
I hate driving in snow so glad to be home from work. So stay safe, stay warm
That sounds like a fun weekend. The snow is finally melting over here and we are hoping that it will stay away for a while.

ReplyDeleteThose photos of all that food are making me seriously hungry! Yum! Beautiful photos! Walks bring you many sources of great inspiration, I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great weekend you had! That apple tart looks so good. It reminds me that I have some frozen apples from our tree that need to be used.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteHow quickly the weather changed over this weekend you describe. But you were able to enjoy time with your family and that's what count, as well as time for your beloved knitting. The hats will come in handy during the cold spell.
