Oh well, its still a day off work even if it means just tackling some housework or the ironing. The shops in town will be heaving, so no point in adding two more bodies to the mix.
Hubby is going to give a platelets donation later anyway, so I plan to potter around the house, sort out our utility/junk room, clean the inside of the windows, or is that being too rash? knit a bit. The day is my own.
The roast dinner yesterday was lovely, hardly any leftovers, we did it justice along with two bottles of Montana Sauvignon Blanc
