Meadow views

The meadows are springing to life with flowers here at Chateau de La Ruche.  The French countryside is certainly a picture at the present. 

The local farmer has taken over a couple of fields near the Chateau and has cleared the old fences and brambles, opening up the views. The sunset last night was amazing.

As I write the sky tonight is glowing so I expect if I get off of the sofa I’d see a similar view.

December sunset

We have had a lovely, though chilly walk into St Ives today. A spot of lunch and a pint or two. A quick hello and happy New Year to the Dolphin knitters; then home in time to catch this beautiful sunset.

The photos are in reverse order, as the sunset was the most important.

Hoping for a trip to the coast if the weather holds out, so I will make sure I take my camera.
