Factoid & Quote of the day

I've not given you a factoid or quote for a while, so these on are my calendar for today -

The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do


I am still plodding on with my cardigan and ten stitch twist, the urge to start something new has never been greater but I am still resisting

Stitch & Creative Craft Show at Olympia tomorrow - all that lovely yarn to squish and buy...........

    So here I am working through my friends' blogs again because I have not been able to attend to them as they come in. I sometimes wonder why I take on so much other stuff - keeps me busy, I suppose :-).

    I like your factoids. For today my diary says: "Clothes rationing ends in Britain 1949". So I guess that was the day that disposable fashion began.

    Good to see so many people yesterday. The group is closed now but there will be a waiting list.

    Fighting through "Kevin" but not enjoying it.
