I spent the day with my daughter and grandsons. Tim was back at work, so I was very surprised to see them all up and dressed and having breakfast when I got there at 8am. We had a busy day, market, park, gardening and water.......... he filled my shoes with water while I was pegging out some washing, luckily I had flip flops type sandles on so no damage done, but he was insistant that I was going to get wet.
As did the cat, she is so stupid, just stood there and let him pour water over her!
I finally got to see Laurie with his eyes open, he looks so like Rufus did at this age, apart from the dark hair. He pretty much spent the day either feeding or sleeping, pretty boring really, just as well his brother kept me busy. Looking forward to going up again on Monday when I stay for the week
He does look like big brother did. Glad you had a good day, wet shoes and all.
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks like fun. What is it with kids and sprinklers? Always a good time. Love Laurie's sweet baby face!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! I'm so glad that everyone is happy and well. Heehee, I had a little chuckle at the expense of the poor kitty.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me wish my mom was closer! Your daughter is so lucky!
ReplyDeleteaww he is so cute, sounds like you had a lot of fun with your grandson. And my cat does the same!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your family moments with us. Poor cat, but I am surprised she didn't retaliate as I thought cats didn't like water. She and Rufus must have an 'understanding'. It's good to see Rufus enjoying himself. Laurie is a beautiful baby.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweethearts, those grandsons of yours! I'm not sure about a cat that would let Rufus pour water over it though. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I love little Laurie
