Garments seem to be flying off the needles at the moment. I showed you the Baby Picchu briefly on Sunday but here it is being modelled by Miss J.
Pattern - Baby Picchu by Berroco - FOC on Ravelry
Yarn - Sirdar Click Aran
Button - local charity shop
We couldn't raise a smile, her Mummy reckoned it was because she was embarrassed that the cardigan didn't match her babygro! She had been wearing her orange number
This afternoon I was quietly knitting when there was a loud bang outside, on investigation I discovered that there had been an accident. The fourth one in the time we have lived in this house. I took a sneaky photo and this is what the local paper had to say. Fortunately only one person was injured and not too seriously.
After that excitement, I did go on to finish the teal cardigan. It turned out a bit on the large size, but then I was using double knit rather than sport weight. So it will be one for her to grow into.
Pattern - Seamless Yoked Cardigan by Carole Barenys - FOC on Ravelry
Yarn - some mystery yarn from my stash
Buttons - yes you guess the local charity shop

Once upon a time there were
Three Bears..........
I'm now knitting something for me its called Ethereal from the Sublime Book #622. I'm knitting it in a James Brett Marble yarn in brown
this should keep me going until Baby Jones puts in an appearance (3.5 weeks or thereabouts to go) and I can then start some more baby knits once I know what we have!
Daddy Bear
Mummy Bear
Baby Bear
The Bear Family
So this is what I've been knitting recently. It's a pattern from a Simply Knitting Supplement called Beautiful Toys to Knit. I don't normally go in for toy making as its a long and fiddly process, but I'm so pleased with how these turned out I'm tempted to make some more.
I also knitted this little cardigan in some charity shop aran yarn that I had in my stash. Such a quick and easy knit, its called Baby Picchu and its a free pattern from Berroco. I will definately knit this again.
