I have a WIP and an FO to share today. But firstly I'd like to thank everyone on Facebook for all the new LIKES on Granny's World page, its much appreciated and I love to read all the lovely comments about what I knit, makes it all worth while.
So first the FO
Pattern - Vintage Matinee Jacket from Love Knitting for Baby #13 - there were quite a few mistakes in the pattern so there was a bit of swearing at times, but I managed to sort it.
Yarn - Patons Knit n Save - a gift from a friend mum's stash
Buttons - from the charity shop
Next is the WIP
Pattern - Peach Sorbet Cardi from Sublime #617
Yarn - Colorado Knitting yarn 100% cotton (from Aldi or Lidl can't remember)
Even if the jacket pattern gave you grief, I think it was worth it in the end because it's just adorable. And those buttons are perfect too!

ReplyDeleteI was deciding just yesterday that I would LOVE to learn how to knit a cowl. I don't have a sewing bone in my body, but my mom and sister are wonderful at it. I need to practice and develop it!
