June in pictures

Blink and you missed it.  Where did June go?  Summer has finally arrived and of course we are all moaning its too hot now.  I guess we are never satisfied, but I think its a case of all or nothing with the UK weather, we never get just a spell of nice, calm, warm.  It promises to be a sticky night, highs of 20c (68F).

So what did we do in June? Made a nice seating area, flowers in the garden, new life on the river, a birthday boy, camping weekend, Strawberry Fair, knitting, stash sorting, grandchild care.

April in pictures

Another month has come and gone, its been a busy month where we have been working on the garden, getting ready for the wedding which we will be setting up in 3 weeks......eek!!

May is gearing up to be a very busy month, one where we take care of the boys for a week whilst their parents are away. Two concerts. A wedding. Add to that keeping on top of the garden. Having a new loo  fitted (just the right time for a leak, especially as this is the loo that will be used by the guests).  I am relieved to see that June is looking to be fairly barren and that I am happy with, I think we will need the break!!

Something new

I am trying to find some inspiration for blog posts.  You may notice they have been a bit thin on the ground lately.  I have decided that I will share at the end of each month, a pictorial of that month by way of random photos or a collage.  As we are now into the third month.  March already!!  Here are photos from January and February.

I have also been working on some projects that I can't share for now but will be revealed in the fullness of time.  I am very excited about them, but also very happy that they are completed........ pressure off!
