At the weekend Peter managed to break his glasses which he’d only had for seven months so we decided to combine a visit into the opticians in Huntingdon with our walk.
It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny and soon our coats were off. A pleasant walk along the old disused railway embankment leads through to the outskirts of Huntingdon.
With replacement specs ordered we headed for a quick coffee then continued our walk along the river to Hartford, Houghton and home - 10.5 miles. Most enjoyable and it made a change to add in some different views from the other side of the river.
SO pretty
