Freedom

What a perfect day.

We set off to meet our youngest daughter in St Ives this morning for coffee and a walk. Bumped into an old friend who we'd not seen for ages. Had a good catch up with her then stopped for coffee and cake at Tom’s.

We then decided to walk over to Houghton and stop for a pint at the pub.

At this point I headed home on my own to meet with a builder whilst Peter went back to St Ives with Rachel. I then met back with them after school pickup for a play and pizza.

Wildflowers in the Houghton lock garden. No sign of the swan and her cygnets

The Hemingford meadow ready for haymaking

All in all a great day, with the bonus that the forecasted rain never happened.
