Meadow walk

Here are some calming photos, they are supposed to be at the end of this post but blogger decided otherwise!

A willow gall wasp I’m guessing?

Meadowsweet

It’s been a warm day today. Making a nice change. I had a friend over for coffee and a catch up this morning and then this afternoon we walked the Hemingford Grey Meadows, popping into St Ives for an ice.cream before heading back.

The meadows were quiet just a few fishermen and walkers making for a pleasant walk. Quite a few river craft, it’s good to see the leisure boats back out, a small sign that things may be getting back to normal.

Not sure how l’m feeling about today’s travel announcements. The UK government are so inconsistent and hypocritical it’s beyond belief. We will await the EU response to the quarantine of their nationals to the UK before confirming any future plans, especially when our Covid numbers are currently going through  the roof.

Covid begone please
