Finally we have been able to have the youngest grandchildren to sleepover. It’s been a while and we had forgotten just how tiring little ones are.
They have turned the house upside down and had lots of fun. We’ve played with Lego, puzzles, crafted, baked, been to the park, cleaned bikes, made sofa dens, even got them weeding the lawn, amazing what appeal a gadget they can use has. They have eaten so much plus I’m sure too many sweets.
They are tucked up now, both falling asleep before stories were finished. I think we will have an early night, they had us up just after 5am this morning and I’m sure the same again tomorrow.
Hoping for a bit of a lay in ....... please
