Then he was 5

Today young Gus turned 5. Somehow a year has gone. His second birthday during Covid times but this one not so strict. He was able to have two friends, his sister, mummy and daddy, nana and grandad, Pops and myself to help him celebrate in the garden after school.  The weather stayed fine and he had a good time, which is all that matters.

We’ve been busy having a sort out in the garden and garage, which resulted in a trip to the tip today, followed by a visit to the plant nursery nearby. Which then resulted in a morning of putting in plants and generally having a tidy in the front garden.

Not much knitting is getting done so I’m make slow progress on my shawl and scarf not that I’m in any hurry to wear either.

Walking continues though not today as we ran out of time.  Plans are afoot for a trip to the coast later this week and also the girls shopping trip on Saturday which was postponed due to rain last week. Like to have something to look forward to. What are you looking forward to?
