Slow day

We woke to a misty start which had burnt off by 10am.  We’ve not done a whole lot today other than a bit of washing, a bit of weeding. Peter put a new handle on my washing trug and sorted some boxes in the garage. Just generally fiddled about.

It was good enough to have lunch outside, then we took a walk to the village lakes.  Still lots of blossoms and birds.  It was so peaceful, after our walk round we sat on a bench and just watched the birds on the water.

The top for Rachel is coming along

Flower heads starting to fill out

Bird cherries still well in bloom

Pretty periwinkles

The weather was still lovely come dinner time so we enjoyed that outside too. Summer feels like it is just around the corner
