After the haircut we went and picked up some lunch from Itsu - Korean BBQ chicken rice bowls - and then sat on the wall outside Kings College to eat them and enjoy the sun. It was actually quite busy along Kings Parade as everyone had the same idea!
Next up was a visit to Gelato Jack for dessert. Oh goodness, it was so good I had scoop each of honeycomb and hazelnut and Peter honeycomb and white chocolate/cardamon. No photos I’m afraid.
We then headed down Silver Street and the along the backs, enjoying all the spring flowers. It was quite quiet really which was nice, no coaches offloading their foreign visitors to be herded about in large groups, just odd people wandering about.
We had parked out at Madingley Road park and ride so got a good walk in and out - 4.8 miles. We drove back via the villages for a change, Madingley and Dry Drayton don’t change that much which in some respect is good, both have avoided being swallowed by the encroaching new villages nearby
