Lockdown 3 - day 14

A walk into St Ives this afternoon to drop off some knitwear to the family. A distanced chat, just not the same but better than the phone. Socks for Rachel, the bag for Gus, he says he can use it when he’s the postman, and Jess happily took the pink hat and scarf. She lost her first tooth yesterday with two more wobbly ones on the way.

Rachel sent this photo of Jess in her hat and scarf finishing off today’s home school

Jess showing off this year’s chilli seeds underway

The meadows are flooded again. It really is incredible the amount of water there is.

As you can see yesterday’s blue skies gave way to grey again. It was good to go out though. This morning I caught up on the ironing and made some mince pies, trying to use up the mincemeat. So we really do need to keep walking to burn off those extra calories.

Another week underway, so take care, keep safe

  1. Your granddaughter looks very pretty in pink!! That is a lot of flooding. We had down pours yesterday, but thank goodness we don't get flooded like that. It is nice you got to see your grandchildren. Take care, Stay safe!
