Goodness I really am aching. We have shovelled and raked, dug and swept. Stacked wood. Removed a broken tree hung up in the branches of another without wrecking the boys treehouse. Managed to revitalise yesterday’s fire and keep it fed all day. The poly tunnel now has an inside and outside bed filled with compost from the woodshed. There is so much left, it will keep the Chateau in compost for some time to come.
All in all a very productive day. Not sure what’s on the cards for tomorrow. For now a sole gin and tonic to help relieve the pain ...
