November - toasty

The Rayburn was lit this morning, it’s amazing the difference it makes. The cats are draped over the radiator snoozing in the warmth

I spent the morning making a family sized pasta bake from scratch. It always seems like a great idea but makes so much washing up. Though it was well received this evening, everyone going for second helpings. So my time was not wasted

This afternoon I spent time having a tidy in the back borders. Dead heading and clearing leaves. It was surprisingly cold out of the sun so a treat to come into a warm kitchen. The dahlias are still blooming and the chrysanthemums are coming out

Tomorrow we will be branch clearing and bonfire preparing for Thursday. We may not have fireworks but we can still celebrate bonfire night.  I’m sure the boys will soon get fed up but we need to keep them busy - no school on Wednesday’s, and no Wednesday club due to lockdown.
