Lockdown 3 - day 38

Goodness it’s a cold one today, but oh so bright and sunny

This morning we popped to Huntingdon to collect a parcel and did a quick scout round Lidl and Aldi

Then after lunch we wrapped up and went for a walk. As you can see the water has subsided enough for us to walk over to Houghton Mill and then on to St Ives via the Thicket - 6.5 miles

It really is amazing that the water has gone down since the start of the week. Grass peeking through where there was water

The river and lock so calm since last we were here

New growth

Hazy sun over the river

Poor tree

Church gate tops

Car park finally putting in an appearance

I wore my new hat and mitts today they were very cosy.

Dinner this evening is Enchiladas, takeaway tomorrow, we never got one last week in the end as Peter wasn’t feeling too good. Indian I’m thinking, they will deliver so we won’t have to turn out in the cold!
