Rachel has a frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis).  She’s in agony and very tired and short on humour as you can imagine.

The story of the cake.  I got a message on Sunday afternoon to say that the birthday cake that Rachel had made was a disaster.  She was upset and in pain, so I offered to make one for her.  Gus was desperate to decorate it, so we agreed that I would drop off the baked cake and they would manage the decoration.  I think you’ll agree it was a perfect joint effort

We hope that Jessica enjoyed her day even if it wasn’t as she would have hoped for.
