Saturday has arrived again. Another week done
These socks, so bright, he loves them and actually so did quite a few people on Instagram. Good to know there is someone for every colour out there! The pattern was Rye Socks by Tin Can Knits
Not sure if you can tell but there’s a grey squirrel sat in our hanging bird table. The cheeky thing sat in there swinging for ages until I went outside with some bread, it soon shot off pretty quickly
These are the next socks on the needles, more oddments from my Aran weight stash bag, I think they are mainly Caron Simply Soft and possibly a Berroco Comfort Solid. I’m using the Rye pattern but not adding the garter panel
We went into St Ives and bumped into Rachel and the grandchildren as expected. They are excited that school is back next week, even though they have been going in three days under the key worker provision, they have missed their friends. We took a distanced walk together to prolong the meeting, the children just never stopped talking it was wonderful. We have all missed so much this past year, time we won’t get back, we have so many things to make up for. We have been told that we have to spend the day in their garden in 29 March, the first time we are allowed to meet properly, which fortunately coincides with the first day of the Easter school holidays, fingers crossed for a dry day
Fingers and toes crossed for you.
